Prep for frozen meals
BEEF CHEEKS (cooked and frozen):
- Defrost in the refrigerator 24 hours prior to reheating.
- Pre heat the oven to 120 C.
- Remove lid and cover foil container with some foil or dish out into oven proof dish with a lid.
- Place into pre heated oven for 30-40 min or until hot.
OR
- Defrost in fridge 24 hours prior to reheating.
- Place into microwave proof dish with lid.
- Reheat at 80% power for 20 minutes
Serve with mash potatoes
BEEF KHOFTA (UNKOOKED FROZEN):
- Defrost in fridge for 24 hours.
- Can be cooked on BBQ or in a pan.
- Medium heat.
- Splash of oil on BBQ or pan.
- Turn regularly till cooked.
Can be served with mash or some flat breads, hummus and salad
BEEF LASAGNA (FROZEN PARTIALLY COOKED):
- Defrost in fridge for 24 hours.
- Preheat oven to 180C
- Remove lid from container and place on middle shelf of oven
- Bake until hot and cheese melted, browned and bubbling, about 40 minutes.
Serve with Greek salad and crusty bread
