Prep for frozen meals

BEEF CHEEKS (cooked and frozen):

  1. Defrost in the refrigerator 24 hours prior to reheating.
  2. Pre heat the oven to 120 C.
  3. Remove lid and cover foil container with some foil or dish out into oven proof dish with a lid.
  4. Place into pre heated oven for 30-40 min or until hot.

OR

  1. Defrost in fridge 24 hours prior to reheating.
  2. Place into microwave proof dish with lid.
  3. Reheat at 80% power for 20 minutes
    Serve with mash potatoes

BEEF KHOFTA (UNKOOKED FROZEN):

  1. Defrost in fridge for 24 hours.
  2. Can be cooked on BBQ or in a pan.
  3. Medium heat.
  4. Splash of oil on BBQ or pan.
  5. Turn regularly till cooked.
    Can be served with mash or some flat breads, hummus and salad

BEEF LASAGNA (FROZEN PARTIALLY COOKED):

  1. Defrost in fridge for 24 hours.
  2. Preheat oven to 180C
  3. Remove lid from container and place on middle shelf of oven
  4. Bake until hot and cheese melted, browned and bubbling, about 40 minutes.
    Serve with Greek salad and crusty bread
